Gray Whales Count

If you have been acknowledged by the Project Coordinator as a Counter, you are able to peruse the schedule to find shifts that work for you.

NOTE: The above image was made in 2009. Three of the four Counters pictured are still “in the picture,” Counters in 2019!

The red button creates a PDF and you can view in your browser or download to your computer. Shifts PDF enables you to scroll through the entire schedule, week by week.

Shifts Online

The Blue Bar-Button goes to a page on the website where you are able to scroll through about 8 weeks of the schedule.

Different computers work differently. Try both buttons to see which format works for you. You may even want to do it the old fashioned way, and make changes and add shifts in the binder at the Point. Again, your choice. After finding shifts that work for you, e-mail the Project Coordinator with your choices. You may request shifts through the entire survey. Some Counters select a shift a week at a regular time through the Count. Others jump in to fill holes. Whatever works best for you, works best for us.

To be certain the schedule is correct after Michael has notified you that your choice has been entered, please check the schedule on the website to be sure your request has been entered as you want. If there is a mistake, or if you would like to make a change, please let Michael know right away.

If — for whatever reason — you need to miss a scheduled shift,

please e-mail Michael as soon as you know.

If it is on the day of your shift, please phone or text 805-698-3505.
He does not receive e-mail on the Point.

Thanks.
