We sought all the observation help we could recruit and still managed only a half-dozen northbound Gray whales in just under six hours on-effort. The fog was back again today.

And, so were Pacific White-sided dolphins in an afternoon tumble with a bunch Common dolphins and sea lions. We did not see Bottlenose in that mix, but we did see them earlier after the fog cleared in the morning.

The surprise was three southbound Gray whales: a single followed a few hours later by a pair head towards Mexico. The party never ends.
