The whales behaved weirdly and, instead of east to west or west to east, the wind was blowing from south to north, while the whales were not blowing much at all. We had a group of three followed by a group of two. Five whales should do a lot of blowing. Not these guys. Our Cow/calf pair was very hard to track because they did not blow much either. Even so, we got better looks than images of the pair.

Maybe it was the just one of those days ...
