Got milk?

Our full day started a bit early as mother and calf cruised inside the kelp and very close to shore at Counter Point. Breakfast is all over the calf.

Our first and second pairs of the day loved the kelp, which was fine with us! What a treat.

Over the remainder of the day we saw four more pairs, but some more than others. Some chose not to surface much and traveled right on by, passing four Harbors seals resting in the kelp.

We entered two groups on Bottlenose dolphins traveling east; one in the morning and the other in the afternoon.
