Eight hours: Terrific, a full day on Counter Point.

We found an assortment of whales: a pair of southbound gray whales; five northbound gray whales; and a whale we could not identify.

It was windy all day, but beautiful. It feels like we are counting. Yes, we are. In addition to the whales, we observed seven bottlenose dolphins, spread out, traveling east.

It was a very good day.

We are off tomorrow: no counting.
